The Nation of Sanctuary Awards is a special event during Refugee Week that celebrates the contributions and achievements of people working to make Wales a place where everyone can feel safe. We’re recognising sanctuary seekers, refugees, and communities of welcome that make us feel proud and hopeful for a brighter tomorrow.

And the best part is anyone can nominate someone to get the recognition they deserve! We would love you help to get the word out and make the Nation of Sanctuary Awards 2026 extra-special.
