First of all, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and supported this year’s C3SC AGM and the Cardiff Volunteer Awards 2021.

It was great to see so many of you and to hear your views during the AGM and workshops, and to hear from Councillor Huw Thomas, Leader of Cardiff Council. We really appreciate him taking the time out of his demanding schedule to deliver the key note speech. It was a packed agenda, and in response to your requests, we will be running two extra workshops to discuss how a joint strategy and C3SC’s Networks can work best to support the sector. We would also like to thank everyone who was involved in the Cardiff Volunteer Awards, with a big shout out to Jason Mohammad, radio and TV presenter for his congratulatory speech to all the volunteers, and to our sponsor – Wales and West Housing who kindly sponsored the event, and the Open University Wales and 2Buy2 who sponsored some of our award categories. It was amazing to see over 100 attendees on the day, and we hope everyone had a great time. As ever, our thanks go out to everyone in the local volunteering community for the invaluable differences you make.

C3SC will be closed over the Christmas and New Year period from 24 December 2021 to 3 January 2022. We wish everyone a happy festive period and a prosperous New Year.

Season’s greetings,

The C3SC Team
