LEAP: Local Energy Advice Partnership
LEAP provides a free service to residents of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, offering expert guidance on energy savings and efficiency. The initiative aims to help households reduce costs and improve home warmth.
Services Offered:
  • Assistance in identifying the most cost-effective energy tariff
  • Installation of free energy-saving measures, including LED bulbs, draft excluders, and radiator reflectors
  • Advice on energy efficiency and heating system optimization
  • Potential referrals for additional energy efficiency improvements
Eligibility Criteria:  Residents may qualify for the service if they meet specific criteria, such as an annual income of £31,000 or less, receipt of tax credits or housing benefits, or living with a long-term illness or disability.
