Invitation to Help Shape Health Engagement for Ethnic Minority Communities in Cardiff

Cardiff and Vale Public Health Team is inviting members of different ethnic minority communities living in Cardiff to take part in a short online survey as part of a collaborative project between Cardiff Council and the Public Health Team from Cardiff & Vale University Health Board (CAVUHB).

This project focuses on exploring ways to improve health engagements with ethnic minority communities across Cardiff and the Vale. A key part of this work is to better understand the experiences, perspectives, and needs of ethnic minority communities. This key information will be reflected in a series of practical handbooks to support a more inclusive and effective health service.

Your views and opinions are incredibly important and will directly shape the content of these handbooks. Please be assured that all responses are completely anonymous, and no personally identifiable information will be collected.

The survey only takes 10 minutes to complete: Cardiff Ethnic Minority Community Survey – Fill in form

A series of focus group sessions are being organised at the beginning of August, starting on Wednesday 5th August until Friday 7th August 2026. Anyone who is eligible to participate in the focus groups will receive a £25 shopping voucher after the session.

The online sign-up sheet to join the focus groups is still live and can be located here: We want to hear from you!  Rydyn ni eisiau clywed gennych chi! – Fill in form
