Public Health Wales has published a new report, Investing in a Healthier Wales: prioritising prevention, which sets out where investment in prevention can have the greatest impact across the life course – from early years and children, through healthy adulthood, to healthy ageing. Using Welsh data and international evidence, it highlights interventions that improve health outcomes, reduce health inequalities and offer strong returns on investment (including estimates of up to £14 for every £1 invested in public health).
