Mental Health Inequalities
We’re currently calling for evidence to inform our work on mental health inequalities. Everyone is welcome to share their views – the closing date for written submissions is Thursday 24 February.
We’ll start taking oral evidence later this term.
Scrutiny of the Welsh Government Draft Budget 2022-23
We scrutinised the Welsh Government Draft Budget on 13 January 2022, and published our report on 4 February 2022.

Hospital discharge and its impact on patient flow through hospitals
We held evidence sessions on our inquiry into hospital discharge and its impact on patient flow through hospitals at our meetings of 27 January, 10 February and 14 February.
We’ll be hearing from the Minister for Health and Social Services and the Deputy Minister for Social Services later this term.
Impact of the waiting times backlog on people in Wales who are waiting for diagnosis or treatment
We finished taking evidence on 10 February 2022 with a session with the Minister for Health and Social Services.
We’re now considering all of the evidence we’ve received, and will publish a report soon. In the meantime, you can read a summary of interviews and focus groups with people in Wales who are waiting for diagnosis or treatment (or who are caring for people who are waiting).
Women and girls’ health
We’ll be holding a one off session on women and girls’ health on 10 March, exploring the evidence for a women and girls health plan and what it should include.
