Since 2006, WCVA has been able to provide over £8 million of loan finance to enterprising third sector organisations to help them to grow, become more sustainable and create job opportunities in communities across Wales.
WCVA has provided working capital to help organisations compete for contracts offered by Local Authorities and Health Boards, supplied the bulk or finishing finance to support large-scale capital projects and invested in organisations to start or expand their trading activity.
Organisations from a range of sectors have benefited from loan finance programmes including: arts, community regeneration, education, environment, health, housing, regeneration, support and sport.
WCVA can often help finish packages of investment that grant providers cannot, and using an element of loan finance is a strong indicator to other funders of your resolve and confidence in generating income from any investment you are asking them to make.
If you’ve got something in mind, even if you’re still at the planning stage, contact WCVA by emailing cif@wcva.org.uk or phoning 029 2043 1779 / 029 2043 5766. They would be happy to talk it through and see if they can support your work.
