Food Cardiff will be launching the *very first* Good Food Cardiff Autumn Festival  this year, running between 12th September and 18th October.

The Festival will be a Covid-19 secure, city-wide programme of food events to help communities to grow their own food, share produce and connect with neighbours. It will celebrate the wonderful community spirit we’ve seen during lockdown.

But we can’t do it alone! We need groups across the city to host events, large or small, virtual or physically distant and be part of this bigger good food movement.

We know there’s still a lot of uncertainty and events can’t be planned and run in the usual way, so we will be producing an Autumn Festival Events Toolkit to provide you with everything you need to run an event safely.

Please find more details attached, please share with other groups who might be interested and get in touch with Meg, our Festival Project Manager to register your interest [email protected]

We will be officially launching the Good Food Cardiff Autumn Festival today, and you can register for your free event toolkit here. The toolkit is packed full of ideas and support to help you get going.

I also wanted to flag that the current Food For Life Get Togethers small grants round closes at 5.30pm *TODAY*. It’s a short application form and quick turnaround for projects that bring people together through good food. Perfect for a Good Food Cardiff Autumn Festival event!
