Good Food Cardiff Autumn Festival 2021

A message on behalf of Food Cardiff:

In 2020, thousands of people took part in Cardiff’s very first Good Food Cardiff Autumn Festival.

Community groups, gardens, local businesses and schools organised 45 events and activities which attracted around 4000 attendees and distributed more than 5,000 vegetable plants.

This year, we would love to celebrate Cardiff’s Silver Sustainable Food Places Award and get people across the city involved in good food, through a week-long festival running from the 27th September – 3rd October 2021.

To register your interest in hosting an activity as part of the Autumn Festival please reply to this email or fill in this short form.

We will also be publicly launching the Cardiff Good Food Strategy 21-24, which over 2,400 people helped develop. You can see the latest version here, along with a summary of the public and stakeholder responses.

Each day of the festival we will be focusing on one of the strategy’s 5 Good Food Goals and encouraging people across Cardiff to take actions to support these.

We’ll be developing resources to support this (similar to last years’ toolkit). Anybody in the city can organise an activity and take part in the festival and we would encourage all Food Cardiff members to get involved.
