This WCVA half-day course is designed to equip you to plan and engage prospects, so you can make the verbal ask at cultivation events, planned meetings and on the phone.

Content

If you have to ask a prospect or an existing donor for a gift in a face-to-face situation, this course is for you. It is always a little daunting to have to verbally ask for money, and there are hints and tips to help you become more confident. You will learn how to build rapport, deliver powerful messages about your charity and feel reassured of your professionalism in making the fundraising ask.
