Meeting

During the meeting, we will be welcoming Councillor Sue Lent to discuss the priorities for her new portfolio at Cardiff County Council – Cabinet Member for Early Years, Children and Families.

We will also be joined by Simon Morris, Achievement Leader (Youth Support Services), Cardiff Council Education Department. Nick Corrigan, Co-Chair of CCYPFN, will lead a discussion on key consultation opportunities, and you will have the opportunity to vote on who will represent Cardiff’s Third Sector at the following strategic meetings:

–        Family and Young People’s Programme Board

–        Cardiff Council Youth Service – Service Transformation Project Team

Network meetings will be the only place where decisions will be made about who will represent members, and to decide on which consultation topics affecting our members and the wider third sector C3SC we should prioritise for presenting our views to decision-makers. It is vital that members attend to ensure we get a strong voice at the decision making tables.
