About the Plan.
The Cardiff and Vale Dementia three year plan will address the needs of people with dementia and their carers over the next three years, as well as serving future population growth. The Plan has been developed for people with dementia and their carers, in order that they can live well with dementia. It has been jointly developed between Cardiff and the Vale UHB, City of Cardiff Council, Vale of Glamorgan Council and Third sector
partners including service user and carer representation.

Agenda for the day:
10.00: Arrival and refreshments.
10.20: Launch of three year plan featuring presentations from Professor Mark Drakeford AM, Mr Adam Cairns and Councillor Susan Elsmore.
11.00: Break out workshops facilitated by PDR.
12.00: Networking lunch.
The launch event will be followed by two optional sessions.
12.45 – 1.30: Dementia Friends training (spaces limited)
12.45 – 2.00: Service mapping workshop for SPIDER.
