Celebrate International Day of the Girl 2015 by joining Full Circle for a unique conference in Cardiff: ‘Giving Girls a Fairer Chance’ will explore research, policy and best practice for working with twenty-first century girls.
The conference is a must for educators, youth workers, health professionals and parents who seek to inspire, engage, motivate and educate girls and young women, and will include:
- Inspirational keynote speeches, exploring the challenges faced by girls today
- Workshop sessions on a diverse range of themes to inspire and inform, including gender equality, girl bullying, FGM, mental health, the sexualisation of girls, aspirations, girls and STEM, and much more
- A marketplace showcasing a range of organisations that can support your school or setting
- A call to action, creating a manifesto of the day to ensure our collective voice is heard, to create a girls agenda in Wales and beyond
Your attendance can contribute towards gender equality actions within your Strategic Equality Plan and school well-being targets. Find out more by visiting the conference page on the Full Circle website.
