This conference is for anyone keen to explore diversity in volunteering and discover how to help people overcome the barriers that may be blocking the way to getting involved in helping others.
Among others, there’ll be plenary sessions from Amanda Parker of Mind Cymru, looking at getting those with mental health difficulties into volunteering, while Anne Hubbard (Wales Migration Partnership) and Constance Nzeneu (Women Seeking Sanctuary Advocacy Group) will look at the volunteering contribution made by migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.
And the range of workshops cover topics including attracting young people to volunteering, diversity in volunteer management, and how to attract more Welsh-speaking volunteers.
There’s not much time left and places are limited. You can read the full programme here and book your place here.
