Taking Action on Race Inequality

13th September 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG) with support from Coalition of Race Equality Organisations (CORE) are working together to create a centralised website to link up organisations tackling racial inequality, such as Islamophobia, stop and search, racism, hate crime and much more. To find out more about this, please visit www.bteg.co.uk.

We want to hear your voices and opinions on:

  • if you think this would be a successful or good idea to link organisations across the UK fighting racism
  • how you think people might use this
  • what ways organisations, people and communities can work together to take action on racial inequality.

EYST WALES (Ethnic Minorities & Youth Support Team Wales) invites you to an event on 13th September 2017, 10:30am-12:30pm at Butetown Youth Pavilion, Dumballs Road, Cardiff, CF10 5FE.  We would love to hear from anyone who thinks that tackling racism is their business- you might be a race equality organisation, a community or voluntary group, from the public sector or even a person from the wider local community. Please forward this invitation to anyone you know who may be interested, we are particularly interested in hearing the viewpoints of people with disabilities, women and members of the community who might not usually come to these events.

If you are not able to come along to the consultation event, but would like to have your say about this proposal, please consider filling out the online survey here. Please do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected] if you have any questions.
