Protection of Vulnerable Adults – Decision Making and Information Sharing (POVA Level 3)
Target group: Adult Services Team managers; Social Workers and anyone with Case Management / Care Co-ordinator responsibility; managers of residential homes and managers of domiciliary agencies.
It is essential that all participants have attended (or completed previously) the Council run, Recognition and Referral Training (Level 2 POVA) or have completed refresher using the E-learning package at this level.

Aims of the course:
- To provide practitioners with an understanding of their role within the POVA strategic process.
Objectives of the course:
At the end of the course you will be able to:
- Understand the scope and purpose of the POVA process.
- Understand your role and responsibilities within the POVA process.
