By the end of the session, participants will

· Be able to develop a volunteering policy

· Have considered what other policies might be necessary

· Understand key legal issues relating to volunteers

· Be able to identify volunteer roles and draw up volunteer ‘task descriptions’ Know how to assess and manage risk relating to volunteer roles.
