National Museum of Wales: Small Changes Add Up

23rd March 2016 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Small Changes Add Up – a series of free cross-sector seminars to explore how partnership working and organisational change can help to embed active community engagement and participatory ways of working at the heart of any organisation.

What’s it about?

Drawing from the wealth of learning that has emerged from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Our Museum Initiative, in which Amgueddfa Cymru participated between 2012 – 2015, each seminar will have a different theme:-

Focusing on Communities

Sharing Authority

Building Cultural Capacity

During the Our Museum Initiative, Amgueddfa Cymru’s focus was on transforming their Volunteering offer, but this was just the start of an exciting journey of change that has seen the Museum develop new working practices to identify and respond to the needs and aspirations of its Communities.

Who’s it for?

Small Changes Add Up is for Practitioners from the Heritage, Cultural and Third Sectors, and beyond!

Each seminar is open to Practitioners at any level; please note that there will be a specific session for Directors and CEO’s in the afternoon of the seminar, Building Cultural Capacity.
