‘Living Memory’ workshops – Online reminiscence therapy images

26th March 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The aim of the ‘Living Memory’ scheme is to utilise the potential of the National Library of Wales (NLW) graphic and audiovisual collections to unlock memories and to facilitate reminiscence therapy with older people and those living with dementia.

Thank you to those of you who responded to the ‘Living Memory’ online survey conducted last year.  As a result of these responses, the NLW are arranging workshops to share information on how to access digital online collections of old photographs and films, including national collections at the NLW, the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, People’s Collection Wales and the British Film Institute Player.  We will also update you on the themed packs of old photographs and films that the NLW are compiling to distribute to organisations and groups that wish to participate in the scheme.

The workshops are open to anyone working with older people and/or people living with dementia in Wales.

To book your place on a workshop, or for more information, please contact Gwyneth or Eilir by Friday, January 25th: [email protected] / Phone: 01970 632991
