This NewLink course is a City & Guilds accredited course for those individuals who are new to teaching and group facilitation. This course aims to give learners an Introduction into the skills and practices needed as a trainer. The activities that are completed throughout the 2 days are part of the assessment and there is no work to be completed outside of the course.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to identify the systematic approach to learning, write aims and objectives and design and deliver a training session. Furthermore they will be able to outline techniques for working with difficult group members and describe some techniques for assessing learning.
