Since 1995 Bawso has been supporting women and children from black and minority ethnic communities affected by domestic and all forms of violence. Each year the number of service users has increased and now stands at over 4,000 a year across Wales, which has enabled Bawso to establish significant insight and expertise.
You are invited to Bawso Forced Marriage Dialogue Day which provides a platform for discussion between practitioners and BME community members about Forced Marriage with the intention of raising awareness, challenging stereotypes, and identifying effective approaches and services in supporting victims.
A nominal registration fee of £10 is charged which will support Bawso services to women affected by Forced Marriage.
To book a place, please contact Rama Furry on (029) 2064 4633 or email [email protected] before Thursday 7th July.
