A NewLink Wales training course

There’s a vast amount of evidence showing that a good care plan can significantly improve outcomes for people who have substance misuse problems. However, many practitioners and service users have become disillusioned with this process and often see it as a tokenistic paperwork exercise. It doesn’t have to be!
Through Creative Care Planning we challenge the old way of doing things and incorporate various creative methods to inspire our service users through care planning.
FULLY FUNDED SPACES AVAILABLE TO PRACTITIONERS WORKING WITHIN CARDIFF AND THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN

The course includes full facilitation, handouts, refreshments and a small buffet lunch.

By the end of the course participants will have developed skills and knowledge in: 

• What best practice guidelines say about care planning and how to apply it
• What commissioners need from care planning
• How to internally audit your own care plans
• How to apply engaging methods in care planning
• How to have fun while care planning!
• How to implement this in your service
