As part of DTA Wales’s commitment to its members and community groups across Wales, they are holding a seminar/workshop to help facilitate the transfer of community buildings for use within the community. The seminar is aimed at community practitioners who are considering developing community buildings for community use.

The workshop will include:

·       An overview of the asset transfer process

·       The role of the Development Trust, local authority and funders in the process

·       The implications for the development trust funding, sustainability, repairs and usage

·        Information about the establishment of community assets based on experience from community practitioners
