The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage a budget for the duration of their project. It will teach you how to monitor the project’s budget at different points in time to support and inform the management and finance team, and Board members in decision making. You will also practice reporting back on how you have spent the funds against the planned budget.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Ideal for: those with little to no experience in managing or monitoring a budget. You could be a trustee needing to evaluate your organisation’s budget sheet; or a staff/volunteer looking to develop your skills and confidence in a current or new role.
