This session aims to prepare you to be confident in organising a small scale community event from initial planning through to implementation and evaluation.
By attending this course, you will be able to:
• Outline and discuss the key stages of the event management process
• Prepare a feasibility study and action plan for your event
• Understand the significance of security and safety issues in event operations
• Demonstrate the ability to propose, plan and theoretically produce an event
• Evaluate an event
This course is delivered in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University Widening Access. Cardiff Met prioritises those living and working in Community First areas, carers and care leavers and those who are financially disadvantaged.
