The purpose of this practical training is to enable participants to understand and identify how they can build equality and diversity into their projects and services and improve equality and diversity practice in communities and groups.

The session will enable participants to:

• Understand different aspects and groups in relation to equality and diversity
• Reflect on how stereotyping and unconscious bias work and what can be done about it
• Understand how to consider equality and diversity requirements when designing services and projects
• Be able to build equality and diversity into service and project planning
• Be able to evaluate how equal and diverse services and projects are
