

Being a Trustee
Are you an existing trustee of a voluntary group or organisation ?
Are you thinking of becoming a trustee?
Being a trustee in the voluntary sector is very rewarding but it can also be challenging. This interactive training course will help new, existing or aspiring Trustees improve your understanding of how best to run your group or organisation. Our experienced trainers will share their knowledge on best practice in good goverance and you will have opportunities to ask any quetions and share your experiences.
The aims and objectives of the course are :
- Understanding the key principles and good practice in governance
- Understanding collective responsibility and accountability
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the Board in ensuring your group or organisation is well-run
The session will take place on-line – we will send you the MS Teams link at least one day prior to the session.
Please feel free to bring your organisation’s governing document to the session.
