Creative Roots – Free Creative Workshops to Support Mental Wellbeing
The Cardiff and Vale Area Planning Board, in partnership with Arts Council Wales, is supporting Creative Roots — a community project designed to improve mental wellbeing through creative and mindful activities.
Workshops are open to substance use and mental health service users, staff, and volunteers across Cardiff and the Vale. Sessions include:
  • Two-hour creative taster workshops
  • Six-week courses with specialist sessions (print-making, painting, photography)
  • Drop-in and peer mentoring sessions
Locations and Dates:
  • Barry: Wednesdays from 14 May, 10am–12pm & 1pm–3pm, POBL Vale Housing Support, CF63 4HH
  • Cardiff: Thursdays from 15 May, 10am–12pm & 1pm–3pm, CAVDAS, CF10 3BE

A public exhibition will follow later in the year in collaboration with Wales Millennium Centre.
