From Creative Roots:

We would like to warmly invite you to the Creative Roots exhibition and book launch, taking place on Sunday 22 February, 2–4pm, at the Wales Millennium Centre. This project was jointly funded by Arts Council of Wales and the APB, and thanks to the commitment from our whole partnership, many people across our communities have been able to take part.

This event is a special moment for the people whose artwork will be publicly displayed — a proud milestone for those who have given their time, creativity and, in many cases, something deeply personal of themselves. It is equally a moment for all of you, our partnership colleagues, whose commitment has made this project possible. We hope you will join us in celebrating their achievements and the difference your work continues to make.

The event will include free workshops, art tours, performances and speeches, and you are very welcome to bring your families and friends. Flyers (Welsh and English) are attached — please do share them with teams, practitioners, case managers, key workers, and anyone who has supported or referred participants.

It offers creative, mindful, and enjoyable activities to support wellbeing, involving participants from Parc Prison and drug and alcohol recovery services across Cardiff and the Vale.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you there.
