Connect with USW Students – Career Mentoring Scheme

Following a successful pilot, we are expanding our Career Mentoring programme to connect more USW students with employers who can share their insights and expertise.How does it work?

  • Express your interest in the scheme by contacting us on uswmentoring@southwales.ac.uk
  • Mentors will be placed in a matching scheme with USW students
  • Hold at least one virtual meeting per month over a 6-month period
  • Provide feedback on the scheme at the end of the 6-month period

Keen to support?

We have mentors across all disciplines, but currently have need for mentors from these areas:

  • Business Management
  • IT & Tech (ICT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Forensics)
  • Public Services (Fire Service, Armed Forces, Police, Local Government, Health boards)
  • Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering
  • Sciences
