The Care Council for Wales has been asked by Welsh Government to work with partners to develop the national learning and development plan to support the coming into force and full implementation of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
The Care Council has also been asked to develop a ‘one stop shop’ where all resources on the Act can be available and accessed by all organisations from one central information hub http://www.ccwales.org.uk/getting-in-on-the-act-hub/
The Care Council wishes to work with partners to ensure a broad range of resources are available on the hub. To this effect, there is a Co-production Grant Fund to enable partners develop learning materials for particular target areas. For the first round of the Co-production Grant Fund the following workforce areas are being targeted: carers (including young carers) and deafblind people.
Please find attached for your information and action further details on the grant fund and note the timescales. If you wish to apply for the Co-production Grant Fund, please request a proposal form by Wednesday 15 July 2015.
