We are writing to you to share a new campaign we are launching on Find a job

Christmas jobs

We would like you to be part of DWP’s campaign to highlight Christmas jobs and seasonal vacancies on our Find a job service. For young people who needs the chance to build up work experience in the working world or people looking to take the first step back into employment, a Christmas job is a great opportunity. It can help build the soft skills that are vital to every workplace, giving people the chance to prove what they’re capable of and boosting their confidence.

What you need to do

When you post Christmas vacancies on Find a job, use the words ‘Christmas job’ in the job description. That way, your job will appear in our highlighted search on the Find a job home page.

What we’ll be doing

Meanwhile from October we’ll be promoting the thousands of Christmas and seasonal jobs on Find a job to potential candidates through a range of our channels.

Help us improve Find a job

We routinely conduct research to improve the Find a job service and understand more about employers’ needs on Find a job. Activities include surveys, prototype testing and interviews. If you are interested in participating in research, please send your name and organisation to [email protected] stating that you would like to opt-in to research requests.

Disability Confident

The Disability Confident scheme supports employers to make the most of the talents disabled people can bring to their workplace. Job adverts on Find a job from Disability Confident employers display the Disability Confident badge, with jobseekers currently able to search over 15,000 vacancies from Disability Confident employers on the site.If your organisation is a member of the Disability Confident scheme and you would like us to add the Disability Confident badge to your Find a job adverts, please reply to this email or email us at [email protected] with your Disability Confident number.

Kind Regards

DWP Find a job team
