Cardiff care At Home: Engagement and Consultation
Calls for Expressions of Interest
Cardiff Council are looking to redesign how they commission domiciliary care and sessional support across the city. They want to hear from those who need to use the services, their carers and any other citizens with an interest. The information will be used to develop the new services and will be included in the evidence to support the new design. The new services, which will build on good practice, gaps in provision and the impact of the gaps for people living in Cardiff. This is not about reducing services, but about changing how they are delivered so they are person-centred and outcome focused.
There are opportunities for third sector organisations to get involved in the service user, carer and citizen engagement. There is funding available to support this area of work.
Expressions of interest are invited from third sector organisations across Cardiff. Please requst the application of the short Expression of Interest form [email protected] . the appliction must be send no later than 5pm on Tuesday 18 February 2020.
We are aware that some organisations may like to be involved in carrying out engagement activities but may also provide some of the services. We ask for confirmation as part of the Expression of Interest to ensure that this is managed transparently. It will be taken into account in the report, but will not impact on the opportunity for your organisation to be involved in the engagement process.
A simple Domiciliary Care and Sessional Support monitoring template will be provided to organisations, with confirmation of funding. All engagement activities will need to be completed and the information submitted no later than 12noon on Monday, 9 March 2020
