My name is Linda Newton. Coming to Cardiff in 1980, I have worked within a number of local voluntary organisations, within housing, homelessness, community development, and for the last 20 years as Director of a small local mental health development infrastructure organization,- working in partnership with our members, and supporting our staff team and our Board in terms of governance, direction and our agreed objectives. I have sat on various voluntary sector Boards over the years.

I am fully committed to the local voluntary sector and all it stands for, having worked in the sector for the past 40 plus years, and I am keen to use my skills and experience to support C3SC, its staff, its members, and to support its future development all I can. The role of the local voluntary sector in support of local communities and communities of interest, and strengths based action and involvement is more vital than ever in our changing world and we need to ensure that this is supported, continues and grows.
