You may be aware that Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) received the UKIED Charter Mark in July 2013 for its work in integrating nationally-recognised equality, diversity and safeguarding effective practice into its strategies and services.
Much has been done over the last two years within C3SC to continue implementing such effective practice, and many of its staff and member organisations have been involved in this process. However, we are now at the stage of needing to apply for re-accreditation of our Charter Mark status, an element of which will be an assessment of both the extent to which member organisations have been engaged in this work and their perceptions as to whether this has achieved positive change.
Therefore, we are asking members of C3SC to review our current Equal Opportunities Policy 2014 and Equality Objectives Action Plan 2015-17 and then share your views with us regarding the progress you believe we have made in achieving these.
Your contribution will be used to gauge whether C3SC remains in compliance with UKIED Charter Mark standards.
We would be grateful if you could provide us with feedback by Monday 6th July 2015. Please email your comments to enquiries@c3sc.org.uk – thank you.
