Will you be providing digital learning opportunities for Adult Learners’ Week?

Adult Learners’ Week (19 – 25 June 2017) is an annual campaign which celebrates and promotes adult learning opportunities as part of the Festival of Learning. Now in over 55 countries worldwide, its intention in Wales is to signpost the huge variety of courses available to adult learners, and to prompt adults
across the country into returning to learning.

With the focus of Digital Communities Wales being on digital learning and skills, we’d like to know whether you are planning to host any events or activities that will enable people to do more online. These could be for members of the public, your staff or volunteers.

If so, drop us a line to let us know. If you’re tweeting about Adult Learners’ Week don’t forget to use the hashtag #lovetolearn. Thank you.
This Adult Learners’ Week, to promote social media as a tool for professional development and learning, we invite you to join us at our first Tweet Chat. Members of our training team and advisors will be on hand to facilitate the discussion.

A Twitter / Tweet chat is a public conversation which revolves around one hashtag. You use the hashtag to follow what’s being said and get involved in the conversation. Join us between 12.30-1.30pm on Tuesday 20th June on Twitter. Follow @DC_Wales for up to date reminders and to preview session questions. It’s easy to join or follow the conversation using #dcwtweetchat, and get involved in answering the questions as well as receiving advice and inspiration from others.
