Recovery Cymru Family & Friends community event – 24th September

We’re building the Family & Friends side of Recovery Cymru around what Recovery Cymru has always done best: people helping people through shared experience.
So, as part of Recovery Month, we’re opening the doors for an afternoon.

Family & Friends Open Afternoon
Thursday 24th September | 12pm–4pm
Recovery Cymru Recovery Centre
Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff, CF5 1GX

If someone you care about is affected by alcohol or other drug use, come in and see what we’re building. Have a cuppa, meet some of the people involved and find out what being part of Family & Friends could actually look like.
You don’t need to decide beforehand whether a group is for you or know what you want from us. This is a chance to come through the door first and take it from there.

If you work with families or friends, we’d love to have you there too.

You can see where you’d be referring someone, meet the people behind the programme and talk to us about what families in Cardiff and the Vale need, what you’re seeing in your own work and where we can work together.
We’re a small local charity and relationships matter to us. We’d much rather know the people referring into our community, and have you know us, than simply swap leaflets.

Drop in any time between 12pm and 4pm. No booking needed.

If you’d like to ask anything before the afternoon, email familyandfriends@recoverycymru.org.uk or call 07944 851 050
