C3SC’s Trustee & Third Sector Leaders’ Network Meeting: Thursday 24th September.

We are pleased to invite you to attend the next C3SC Trustee & Third Sector Leaders’ Network Meeting which will be taking place online on 24 September from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.

Following feedback from our members across the sector, the focus of this session will be Charity Registration and practical steps to empower third-sector organisations with the knowledge and skills to successfully register their charities.

This session will include an Advice Cafe, featuring a presentation from Neil Poole Senior Performance and Case Manager/Registration at The Charity Commission for England and Wales. Focusing on Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs), the session will highlight:

• The registration requirements for a new CIO.

• How to apply for registration – including the application process and what to expect.

• Hints and tips to help the CIO application go as smoothly as possible – including what supporting documents we will expect to receive as part of the application, and recommended guidance that applicants should read before applying to register.

The Network meeting is a great opportunity for leaders in the Third Sector – Trustees, Management Committee Members, Chief Officers, Senior Staff – to feel more confident about registering their organisations, sharing learning and good practice, and receive up to date information.
