July Quiz – change of date to Wed 22nd July
Damien is away for the July quiz, so guest ‘quizzer’, Chrissy, will be standing in for him and due to her availability it will happen a week earlier than usual. Please come along and support her – normal time – 1.30-2.30pm
RWCMD Guitar Recitals
Carwyn will be playing in the cafe between 11.30 and 12.30 this Friday 3rd July. There will then be a break until the term re-starts in September.
Introduction to Road-Riding for Children 9+
4-day course in Penarth (10am – 12pm from Tuesday 28th July to Friday 31st July)

12 Hours for Pedal Power
Sponsored team cycling relay being held at Maindy Velodrome on Monday 17th August from 6am to 6pm
· Fundraising event for Pedal Power
· Sponsored team relay challenge
· Participants will cycle around the velodrome track
· One rider from each team on the track for the 12-hour duration
· Open to riders on 2-wheel, recumbent trikes and tandems

· V21, Scope, Arts Active and Cardiff Council Wellbeing Service are running this free event to celebrate Disability Pride month

Wheel 4 Rookwood SpUR Ride
Sunday 12th July – start/finish at Cardiff Bay Barrage
Everyone is welcome to join this accessible, family friendly, 4.5 mile loop around the Bay to raise money for the patients who are undergoing rehabilitation at the Wales spinal injury unit. All wheels are encouraged and all participants can hire from us at member rates.

Changes to parking at Central Station
Changes effective from Wednesday 1st July. Info from Transport for Wales
Penarth Road car park at the southside of the station, and the Riverside (Fish Jetty) car park adjacent to platform 0 at the station, will permanently close from Wednesday 1 July. This includes pick-up and drop-off at both locations.
The closure of the car parks will allow the start of the preparatory works ahead of the start of construction works for the planned enhancements at Cardiff Central station and Cardiff Crossrail.
Parking is available for customers nearby at Cardiff Central Quay multi-storey car park at the south of the station.
