Workshop for Unpaid Carers supporting individuals with learning disabilities

Together with All Wales Forum Voices ADFOCAD will be hosting an in-person DWP “Workshop in a box” in the PIP review, to give the opportunity for family carers to have a say. Often, it is ignored that some individuals with learning disabilities and other conditions require a carer to speak on their behalf. Ensuring that family carers have a place at the table supports them as citizens giving unpaid care but also supports those individuals in ensuring they have a say in decisions that affect them as well.
