Social Care Wales is working in partnership with Developing Evidence Enriched Practice (DEEP) and are offering a range of online learning and development opportunities free of charge between July and Sept. All the sessions can be attended as stand-alone events.
What is DEEP?
DEEP is a co-production approach to gathering, exploring, and using diverse types of evidence (research evidence, practitioner wisdom and the perspectives of people with lived experience) in learning and development by using story and dialogue-based methods.
Welsh Government’s Performance and Improvement Framework requires local authorities and their partners to demonstrate how they’re using evidence in practice, planning and policymaking and go beyond performance indicators to explore the experience and outcomes of the people they support.
Using DEEP approaches can support people working across social work and social care with the understanding and tools to deliver relationship-centred care and support.
