We are delighted to share the January 2026 special edition of the Cardiff & Vale Local Public Health Team’s newsletter with you!

This special edition is focused on tackling smoking – a major cause of preventable illness and death across Wales. Reducing smoking rates is one of the top three priorities for the Cardiff and Vale Public Health Team, alongside increasing vaccination rates and reducing overweight and obesity.
