1001 Critical Days Foundation – Grant Funding Now Open

The 1001 Critical Days Foundation has opened its second round of grant funding for UK-registered charities (established 2+ years) whose work directly supports babies during the first 1,001 days. Projects based in family hubs or similar open-access community settings are particularly encouraged to apply.
The programme uses a two-stage application process (Expression of Interest followed by a full application for shortlisted organisations) with an extended application window and feedback provided at Stage Two.
Funding priorities include:
• Clear, measurable outcomes for babies and families
• Strong partnership working and match-funding plans
• Financial stability and focused delivery
• Embedded delivery in family hubs or equivalent community settings
Key Dates:
 Stage One (EoI) deadline: 19 December 2025
 Stage Two invitations: Late January 2026
 Stage Two submissions: 27 February 2026
 Stage Three meetings: 23 March – 24 April 2026
 Final decisions: May 2026
Round One Summary:
• 114 applications received; 11 shortlisted; 5 charities funded
• £2 million awarded in total
• Funded areas included parent–infant relationships, early literacy, fatherhood support, video interactive guidance, and domestic abuse prevention
