Loneliness and Social Isolation Fund

The Cardiff Council in partnership with Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) have a small barriers fund £16,675 in total, to provide small amounts of funding for groups wishing to restart or upscale their current offer. The barrier fund will be used to help groups re-establish themselves after the pandemic, for promotion and marketing purposes or to cover the cost of upgrading their subscription for the use of digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom for example. Covering the cost of venue hire is a significant one for helping a small group restart, it’s also a useful way to boost the income of the community venues.

The Programme is open for applications from 16th December, 2021 with a deadline for submission of 5pm on 7th January, 2022.
