The Idox Innovation Awards, which aim to showcase and celebrate the achievements of projects that have demonstrated a creative and forward-thinking approach to improving the life of communities in one or more UK locations, are open to entry.
2015 marks Idox’s 30th year as a provider of funding information services and, in celebration of this significant milestone, it has launched the Idox Innovation Awards, an
initiative aiming to showcase the work of organisations that have demonstrated excellence and innovation in supporting their local communities.
Awards are available to projects that have encouraged and promoted positive change, demonstrating innovation in their approach to responding to local, regional and/or national challenges. The total Idox Innovation Awards prize fund for 2015 is £15,000. Each category-winning organisation will be awarded £3,000 in recognition of their project’s achievement, together with promotional and publicity opportunities that will enable them to share their project’s success. ‘Highly commended’ projects will also be selected in each category and awarded an Idox Innovation Awards certificate.
A wide range of formally constituted public sector, business support and voluntary and community sector organisations are eligible to enter the Awards, of which there are five categories:
– Category 1: Innovation in supporting local economic development
– Category 2: Innovation in promoting community engagement
– Category 3: Innovation in promoting healthy living
– Category 4: Innovation in supporting children and young people (aged up to 18 years)
– Category 5: Innovation in promoting environmental sustainability
Projects may be entered for consideration under a minimum of one and maximum of two award categories.
Entrants are required to complete the entry form in full, providing relevant digital supporting documentation (e.g. photographs, news articles, web pages, links to online
videos etc.) of the project activity.
The deadline for entries is 1 September 2015 (5pm). For more information see: http://www.idoxgroup.com/news-and-events/idox-news/71-idox-news/431-idox-launches-new-innovation-awards.html
