This Cardiff Council training is for those who may need to deal with health emergencies prior to the arrival of more competent personnel.

Course content: Responsibilities in the workplace. Resuscitation; casualty management and unconscious casualty management; management of a casualty with shock; management of bleeding; bandaging skills, dealing with choking and burns and scalds.

Due to practical elements of the training, please ensure course participants attend suitably dressed, flat/low heeled shoes and clothes that do not restrict movement or compromise modesty.

A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend the whole session.

Please note that Cardiff Council no longer provides lunch on any of training courses. If purchasing lunch locally please take into consideration queuing time to ensure the training schedule is adhered to.

Drink refreshments will be provided during any breaks.
