SUMMARY:Emergency First Aid in the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:This Cardiff Council training is for those who may need to deal with health emergencies prior to the arrival of more competent personnel. \nCourse content: Responsibilities in the workplace. Resuscitation; casualty management and unconscious casualty management; management of a casualty with shock; management of bleeding; bandaging skills\, dealing with choking and burns and scalds. \nDue to practical elements of the training\, please ensure course participants attend suitably dressed\, flat/low heeled shoes and clothes that do not restrict movement or compromise modesty. \nA certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend the whole session. \nPlease note that Cardiff Council no longer provides lunch on any of training courses.
