Introducing “What does the Act mean for me?” A learning and Development Resource for the Direct Care Workforce

This Cardiff Council training is for provider managers, third sector organisations and commissioned care services.

• To introduce a development resource for the direct care workforce (www.ccwales.org.uk/learning-resources-1/principles-in-practice).

• To prepare managers to deliver the resource within their own teams/organisation by giving course attendees a chance to undertake activities and view resources.

• The resource enables those who are delivering care and support to understand the key principles of the Act and how they link to the Codes of Professional Practice.

A certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend the whole session.
