Heritage Lottery Fund – Funding Support Workshop
Not sure what makes a good application? Don’t understand what an outcome is? Confused about how to develop a budget?
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) recognises that some community and voluntary groups are nervous about filling in grant application forms. That is why they are running a funding support workshop in their office in Cardiff.
This workshop is for any group which is not yet or newly constituted, those new to fundraising for heritage projects and anyone with an interest in knowing more about HLF funding.
By the end of the session you will:
– Understand the different types of heritage projects that we fund.
– Understand the Outcomes HLF aims to support.
– Have a better understanding of the type of costs that can be included in an application.
– Know how to write a HLF Project Plan.
– Hear the experience of an organisation that has received HLF funding.
You don’t need a definite project idea to attend – just come along to find our more. There will be a brief opportunity after the workshop to discuss any initial ideas with the Development Officers.
Places are limited and booking is essential. To book a place, please email wales@hlf.org.uk or call 029 2023 4142.
