Backed by the Welsh Government this interactive event will bring together Cardiff Council Procurement Officials and Business Wales Tendering Advisers alongside local businesses. By attending you will:

·    Be provided with an overview of how Cardiff Council procure goods and services

·    Gain an understanding of the types of requirements placed on businesses when responding to public sector tenders, for example equality and diversity, health and safety, the ability to deliver, references and sustainability.  
·    Find out how to access expert procurement advice from Business Wales Tendering Advisers. The Service has successfully supported a large number of businesses in Wales to improve their knowledge and skills in public sector tendering, and most importantly have in many cases gone on to succeed in winning new business.

·    Be able to address your questions or queries to a range of experts including members of Cardiff Council’s Commissioning & Procurement Teams and Business Wales Advisers in a Meet the Teams session.   Whether you require an outline understanding or in depth advice, experts will be on hand to respond to your questions and uncertainties regarding public sector tendering with the aim of helping you to improve your chances of success.
